After the announcement in the 2012 UK Budget of the shift from age related tax free allowances to date of birth related allowances we have made some major updates to our tax calculators. You can now enter just your date of birth in order to automatically calculate your tax free personal allowance as well as state pension age - this simplifies the calculator and removes two steps, not bad! We also took the opportunity to implement the figures provided by Chancellor George Osborne in his 2012 UK Budget for the 2013/2014 Tax Year - these include the freezing of allowances for people aged 65 and above as well as the changes to the state pension ages. Other changes include the ability to select the Student Loan Repayment Scheme you are on - either Pre or Post September 2012.
